Packing for a holiday isn't one of my favourite things, especailly as there's always something you forget (hopefully not a child).
For the last five years my family and I have been holidaying in our caravan, hitting festivals and enjoying the Welsh coast. I haven't had to think much about packing, you just throw the clothes in, hitch it to the car and off you go.
Its been a long time since I've had a holiday abroad so even thinking about what to even take makes my head want to explode. Packing to me should be a more pain free experience so i'm just going to try and pick essential and wearable pieces so i'll be able to mix and match and have lots of choice while i'm away. Here's my first edit.
II love red and blue and always use them as accent colours in my wardrobe. A stripe top features where ever I go so bought this vest top from H&M's concious collection along with a white and black. They will go perfectly with the shorts, trousers and skirt I'm taking along with me.
DATI features in the staple Boyfriend Shirt, Shorts, blue trousers and black baseball top with sheer arms, all made in Wales from ethical fabrics. The colbolt blue shorts are vintage tennis shorts from Tenovus and leather bag from a street market in Cardiff.
I love these handmade menorcan sandals. I remember having them as a child when we went on holiday as a family. When i saw these I just had to have them in a few colours. Don't forget your favourite sunglassses and a hat too!
In my case i've chosen a mix of my favourite charity shop finds, H&M sustainable pieces from thier concious collection and DATI samples that we plan to shoot whilst we're away.
